We've come here three times now. Every time, we've found the food to be consistently delicious. I was pleasantly surprised because the taste felt authentic and homemade. The ambiance is nice and welcoming. You'll be greeted with a warm smile. I highly recommend it if you are looking to try authentic Indian dishes.

Authentic South Indian food especially Kerala traditional dishes. They have buffet too on some days. I have had south Indian food in Auckland and Christchurch as well but Malabar Magic, Dunedin is by far the best. Reasonable rates. Super tasty. Excellent value for money. Must visit.

Exceeded our expectations and the person on the front counter was very humble and sincere.
Went in for the lunchtime special. Awesome feed.
Was a cold day outside but nicely heated inside. Obviously the word is out in the street tho because they were busy.
