We've come here three times now. Every time, we've found the food to be consistently delicious. I was pleasantly surprised because the taste felt authentic and homemade. The ambiance is nice and welcoming. You'll be greeted with a warm smile. I highly recommend it if you are looking to try authentic Indian dishes.

The food here is absolutely delicious! We tried the Chicken Biryani, Kerala Beef Fry, and Chicken 65 – all were full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The Kerala-style dishes really stood out, with authentic taste that reminded me of home. Everything was fresh, tasty, and well-prepared. Definitely a must-try if you love Indian and Kerala-style cuisine!

Authentic South Indian food especially Kerala traditional dishes. They have buffet too on some days. I have had south Indian food in Auckland and Christchurch as well but Malabar Magic, Dunedin is by far the best. Reasonable rates. Super tasty. Excellent value for money. Must visit.

We came for lunch on two occasions. During our first visit, we ordered their special lunches and greatly appreciated the curry served with naan and rice, which could be customised for spiciness. On our second visit, we tried the half tandoori chicken and biryani rice, both of which were expertly prepared and moist. We highly recommend these dishes. Additionally, Jiji provided exceptional and efficient service, enhancing our overall dining experience.
